چکیده

The application of organic and inorganic fertilizers together increases crop productivity soil fertility. However, it is crucial to identify the combined level. A field experiment was carried out in Guto Gida district 2021 determine effect vermicompost levels chemically mixed NPSZnB fertilizer rates on growth yield maize. Four (0, 2.5, 5, 7.5 t·ha−1) with four artificial 50, 100, 150 kg·ha−1) were used for study a randomized complete block design (RCBD) 3 replicates. Crop phenology biomass both significantly influenced by main effects level rate. Vermicompost applied had large plant height, leaf area index, ear weight, thousand kernel grain yield. largest (8.03 produced interaction at t·ha−1 kg·ha−1 NPSZnB, followed all above 5 100 NPSZnB. Additionally, plots treated × kg·ha−1, respectively, recorded greatest values weight (276.1 g) (49.79 g). lower obtained from that untreated plot only 50–150 In conclusion, integrated applications increased maize about 10.36%, net benefit 140486.00 ETB·ha−1 marginal rate return 797.98%. As result, synthetic found suitable area.

Maize (Zea mays L.).

Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation is an effective method for introducing genes into maize. In this chapter, we describe a detailed protocol for genetic transformation of the maize genotype Hi II. Our starting plant material is immature embryos cocultivated with an Agrobacterium strain carrying a standard binary vector. In addition to step-by-step laboratory transformation proced...
